Port-au-Prince, le 12Juin 2015 – La Représentante spéciale du Secrétaire général des Nations Unies et les autres membres de la communauté internationale en Haïti représenté au sein du « Core Group » (les ambassadeurs du Brésil, du Canada, de l’Espagne, des États-Unis d’Amérique, de la France, et de l’Union européenne et le Représentant spécial de l’Organisation des États américains) prennent note de la publication de la liste des candidats à l’élection présidentielle par le Conseil électoral provisoire (CEP) en date du 12 Juin 2015.
La publication de la liste des candidats à l’élection présidentielle constitue une étape importante dans la mise en œuvre du processus électoral. Le « Core Group » réitère son plein soutien aux travaux du Conseil Electoral et à l’organisation en cours des élections. Le Groupe invite toutes les parties prenantes à continuer de participer de manière constructive au processus électoral de 2015.
Le « Core Group » salue les efforts du Gouvernement de la République en vue du renforcement continu de la démocratie en Haïti. Les membres du « Core Group » soulignent l’importance de consolider l’étape actuelle et de soutenir le CEP, le Gouvernement et le peuple d’Haïti, y compris les partis politiques, dans la conduite d’élections justes, transparentes et inclusives dans un climat de sérénité.
The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Haiti and the members of the “Core Group” take note of the publication of the list of presidential candidates and reiterate their full support to the CEP and the electoral process
Port-au-Prince, 12 13 June 2015 – The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the members of the international community in Haiti represented by the « Core Group » (the Ambassadors of Brazil, Canada, France, Spain, the United States of America, the European Union and the Special Representative of the Organization of American States) take note of the publication of the list of presidential candidates by the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) on 12 June 2015.
The publication of the list of presidential candidates constitutes an important step in the implementation of the electoral process. The “Core Group” reiterates its full support to the work of the Council and the ongoing organization of elections. The Group invites all stakeholders to continue to participate constructively in the 2015 electoral process.
The “Core Group” salutes the efforts of the Government of the Republic towards the continued strengthening of democracy in Haiti. The members of the Core Group emphasize the importance of building on the current momentum and supporting the CEP, the Government and people of Haiti, including the political parties, in the conduct of fair, transparent and inclusive elections in a climate of serenity.
